Chichester Wargames Society has been going since the 1970's and we still have some of the original members coming along on a regular basis. However we also have new members that have only joined this year.

One of the guiding principles of Chichester Wargames Society is that what we play should be an enjoyable experience for all members and with this in mind we play a wide variety of games and are always willing to try something new.

Chichester Wargames Society play a wide variety of games from very modern Middle Eastern Arab v Allies, World War II Axis and Allies Land and Naval, Victorian Dinosaur Hunters, Star Wars, Corps level Napoleonics in 6mm and a wide variety of board games (Viet-Nam, Ireland in 1688 and Nightfighters over Germany). Some of these board games have maps 2 or 3 metres wide. Many of the games we play are designed by society members and so if you have designed a game and want to try it out please feel welcome to come along and show us.

There are photos on this site of some of our games in action and you will see we also go in for lots of very realistic scenery which adds considerably to the experience. We will be adding to the photo galleries as and when we have new photos and game reports. We have just added a forum for anyone to add comments or ask questions.
